GT2871R - TO4B Compressor housing with 56 trim GT35 compressor wheel. 44lbs/min air flow. .86 AR T2 exhaust housing with 76 trim GT25 turbine wheel. Good for 400+HP and bolts on to SR20DET manifolds and downpipes. Internal Wastegate. We really like this turbo. Many guys/ladies that are wanting to enter the drifting scene are buying this with the .64 housing. You lose just about 30HP, but gain much more low end and thus...slideways.
Here is a dyno of this turbo (364HP on a Dynopack). We installed it on a FWD SR motor with a 3inch exhaust. (results would be similar for a RWD SR20DET) Rocco Ciccone owns the car. This was the .86 housing. But at only 20psi (the efficiency of this turbo is from 20 to 30psi) it's just starting to make great power. FWD SR guys suffer from weak transmissions, something us RWD guys don't. We'd guess another 50HP or more at 25psi. Also take note, the torque is 365! The actual turbo used here is the JGYBB37 (same as the GT2871). This was when we had to have the housings made to fit the center section. Now Garrett makes the entire thing for us... it's the same, just cheaper: $1,110
